The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Patio Lounge, in the Jin Mao tower, Shanghai. I came here for sorbet once, and it was the BEST sorbet I’ve ever had. Ahhh, I miss Shanghai. I always have trouble choosing between Hong Kong or Shanghai. HK has great food, and it reflects my Cantonese culture, but Shanghai… Oh my, Shanghai is the Paris of China. I love the history, the culture, the arts. When I think Shanghai, I think of their mid 1900s burlesque shows. I love the glamour and luxury of Shanghai, the European influence, the architect,…it’s just such a beautiful Chinese city. If there’s one thing I want to be, I want to be a Shanghai tai tai.
